Clinical Risk Manager
Summary
The Clinical Risk Manager is responsible for the growth and overall effectiveness of comprehensive, interdisciplinary clinical risk management, patient safety, and compliance programs. Responsible for managing strategic planning, clinical compliance, patient safety and quality programs, risk management, and regulatory affairs.

- Oversee clinical compliance, risk management, and/or patient safety and quality programs.
- Develop policies and implement risk management strategies to ensure safety in clinical and operational environments.
- Work with leadership and clinical staff to identify areas where safety efforts and quality of care need to be addressed.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and leadership to enhance operational safety, quality of care, and efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits, review safety reports, and complete assessments to identify and mitigate risks and ensure policy execution.
- Investigate instances of non-compliance and reported patient safety events to determine outcomes and actions.
- Responsible for placement of students in clinical settings and/or assigning tasks to team members.
- Conduct data-driven analyses to ensure clinical practices align with local, state, and federal regulations.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience.
