Compliance Analyst I

Summary

This is an entry level position working within a compliance office. This position is responsible for performing routine compliance reviews, providing compliance support, and maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.

Examples of Work

  • Conduct compliance reviews and verify that submissions are complete and comply with agency and UF polices. Notify the submitter of required changes as appropriate.
  • Review compliance submissions and confirm compliance requirements (such as training completion, UF role and other considerations) are met.
  • Review and approve changes to compliance documentation such as management plans, protocols, or other documents.
  • Approve administrative changes to submissions such as personnel changes, title changes and other administrative approvals as appropriate for the office.
  • Conduct/coordinate required risk mitigation reviews of compliance activities.
  • Report compliance issues to the applicable compliance committee or office, as appropriate.
  • Assist faculty, staff and researchers in complying with UF policies, serving as a resource to campus for basic compliance questions and inquiries.
  • Responsible for independently maintaining compliance records including case files, logs and compliance calendars, ensuring data accuracy and completeness, in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Maintain awareness and an understanding of applicable regulations related to one compliance program and participate in trainings and meetings.
  • Maintain confidentiality/ privacy

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position does not include supervisory responsibility.
