Emergency Management Coordinator
This position provides professional support in the implementation of the University’s emergency management program by serving as an advisor and consultant to supervisory and staff employees. Assists in the design and direction of a comprehensive emergency management program.

- Responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive emergency management program. Interprets and communicates university regulations, policies and procedures, as well as applicable federal/state employment laws.
- Assists management in the implementation of the University’s comprehensive Emergency Management Plan (CEMP).
- Assists management in the development and is responsible for the readiness of the University’s Emergency Operations Team (EOT).
- Develops and implements emergency management programs and policies to ensure continuity of operations.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree and two years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience.
Licensure and Certification
Florida Associate Emergency Manager or Florida Professional Emergency Manager Certification may be required
This position does not typically have supervisory responsibility.
