Media Account Executive

Summary

Develop, manage, and maintain client accounts. Work with clients to develop media strategies to help them reach their target audience and budget.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Meet with clients to understand their advertising and marketing goals, budget, and target audience.
  • Develop media strategies and plans to help clients reach their target audience effectively.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and media partners.
  • Understand consumer behavior and media consumption patterns.
  • Write proposals that include research of customers’ products, specific multimedia needs as well as use of relevant proprietary research supplied by the companies.
  • Sell underwriting to clients both directly and through advertising agencies.
  • Responsible for generating new business and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing potential clients.
  • Communicate with potential businesses and individual donors to pursue donations and commitments during pledge drives.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma and four years of appropriate experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
