Summary
Conduct laboratory tests to provide information for diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of diseases.

- Performs serology, immunology, immunohematology, hematology, bacteriology, urinalyses, biochemical, drug susceptibility, and/or other tests.
- Prepares and inoculates culture mediums and identifies organisms.
- Prepares reports of test results.
- Prepares reagents and chemicals.
- Performs preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment as required.
- Performs quality control testing.
Education and Experience
Licensed as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in one of the specialty areas to which the position is allocated.
Licensure and Certification
Licensed as a Medical Laboratory Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist in one of the specialty areas to which the position is allocated.
