Summary

UF Advancement Classification*

Under general supervision, this position will be responsible for timely and accurate processing of gifts and biographical records in UF Advancement’s donor database.

  • Verify and update biographical/entity information per gift batches.
  • Process gift and non-gift batches.
  • Decide appropriate transaction, purpose and receipting codes for gifts while maintaining all monthly, annual and project deadlines.
  • Respond to inquiries received from donors, Advancement, and the University.
  • Create new entities, both individual and corporate, within the donor database.
  • Provide back-up coverage of shifts in PCI-compliant clean room including, but not limited to answering calls from donors wanting to charge their credit cards, calls to the department general line, and opening and processing the mail.
  • Maintain security of donor payment information and methods.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards for gift recording, reporting and handling of confidential data.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent and six months of clerical or customer-service experience.

This position does not typically include supervisory responsibility.
