Prospect Data Analyst III
Summary
This position is a senior key partner in managing strategies and initiatives that inform cultivation and solicitation of major and principal gift prospects. Accountable for portfolio and data management, advocates for prospect data integrity, synthesizes data-driven insights and articulates them in comprehensive analytical reports, influences data structure, manages execution of CRM report builds, and implements policies and procedures.

- Create and execute reports to analyze the efficiency and efficacy of Prospect Strategy & Research (PSR) recommendations and related fundraiser activity.
- Make actionable recommendations to improve the prospect management program and functions.
- Execute special campaign projects as identified by leadership, which may include conducting targeted analyses, partnering with unit and internal groups and developing and executing recommendations.
- Lead and manage special projects (e.g. CRM enhancement projects, Teams Days [focused, team-wide prospecting projects]), as assigned by supervisors.
- Demonstrate proficiency with data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, SOQL Cognos, Salesforce reports and CRM Analytics.
- Attend and participate in meetings, workgroups, committees, and other internal responsibilities logically related to the role.
- Keep informed of prospect management and data analysis industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Improve efficiency of PSR operations and priority initiatives by applying technical data skills to prospect management industry best practices.
- Document internal audit processes and procedures and other processes and procedures as assigned, report and work toward resolution of issues.
- Execute Salesforce report builds using list views, Salesforce reports, CRM Analytics and/or other reporting tools.
- Take proactive steps to learn, recommend and implement new reporting tools and solutions.
- Oversee and execute the prospect management audit program to ensure compliance with the Relationship Management Guiding Principles.
- May supervise assigned Prospect Data Analysts, including hiring, onboarding, training and professional development, delegating duties, mentoring, certifying time and attendance, performance management (including annual appraisal) and performance action plans. Provide weekly updates to supervisor for activity in assigned vertical.
- Track and review remote team goals to ensure continuity and team productivity of remote workers in assigned vertical.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of relevant experience.
