Procurement Support Specialist II

Summary

This position serves as an advanced resource for procurement and payables support, providing subject matter expertise in MyUF Marketplace and UF GO processes. The incumbent independently resolves escalated issues, develops training programs, and contributes to policy and procedure improvements that enhance service delivery across the University.

Customer Service

  • Serve as the first point of escalation for complex procurement, travel, and P-Card issues.
  • Monitor and analyze Helpdesk activity to identify trends and recurring issues.

Issue Resolution

  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance to departments on procurement, invoicing, and travel policies.
  • Recommend and assist in the implementation of solutions for systemic problems.

Outreach

  • Lead development of procurement support resources such as toolkits, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Conduct specialized training workshops and mentor Procurement Support Specialists.

Analyze and Review

  • Participate in testing and rollout of system enhancements or process changes.
  • Collaborate with Procurement leadership to improve service delivery and efficiency.

Other

  • Perform any other duties as assigned to support the overall objectives of the Procurement team.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years’ experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position does not typically include supervisory responsibility.
