Program Director
Summary
The Program Director will be responsible for implementing, administering, and managing one or more of the organization’s programs to ensure it meets its strategic objectives. This position oversees program budgets, staffing requirements, and ensuring program compliance with organizational policies and procedures. The Program Director will also identify, develop, handle complex issues, and maintain alliances or partnerships that assist the business unit or college’s strategic business objectives. The Program Director will engage with and identify new opportunities to represent the assigned business unit or college externally to develop additional business.

- Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or customers.
- Participates in all aspects of corporate programs, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance.
- Promotes the program throughout the organization and tracks utilization.
- Supervises the work of program or project staff to ensure that work in completed on time or in accordance with established standards or specifications.
- Evaluates program effectiveness by collecting and analyzing data in support of key performance metrics.
- Ensures that activities comply with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization and six years of appropriate experience or a bachelor’s degree in appropriate areas of specialization and eight years of experience.

May be responsible for the supervision of others. May lead or direct others on tasks related to program scope.
