Sustainability Coordinator
Summary
Supports the development and deployment of sustainability best practices targeting institutional and individual actions across a range of topical areas with a focus on climate change and associated action areas (e.g. climate, energy, transportation, and the built environment).

- Collaborates to manage strategic implementation of sustainability into campus operations and help integrate academic and operational sustainability programs.
- Develops and engages the campus community with behavioral best practices that result in measurable and/or foundational improvements in campus sustainability metrics, especially related to greenhouse gas emission reduction.
- Serve as liaison with other departments and units concerning services and functions provided by business and financial/auxiliary services related to sustainability.
- Assist with evaluating effectiveness of programs and projects in support of strategic sustainability goals.
Education and Experience
Master’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience. For some positions assigned to this class, special qualifications may be added to the minimum, such as appropriate professional registration or certification.
