Manager, Education/Training Programs
Summary
Assists the Director or other appropriate administrator in the management of one or more aspects of an education or training unit and/or function. This position is generally responsible for the management of a segment of an education or training department or a major function. Assists in the analysis of the effectiveness of and establishes future direction for functional policies and programs. The primary duty is to function as team lead and provide primary support to the staff of this division.

- Responsible for the management of an education or training unit for a college, department, or major function.
- Ensures that curricular updates/changes are communicated and implemented.
- Day-to-day oversight of a department and the establishment of performance goals and measures to evaluate success of assigned area of responsibility.
- Ensures that all educational programs comply with college, university, state, and federal regulations.
- Manages student course assignments and scheduling, ensuring accuracy of student demographic information, educational course assignments, and housing requests for students from UF and non-UF academic programs.
- Manages collection and analysis of all student course, faculty, and resident evaluations from multiple systems for reporting.
- Participates in strategic planning, and formulating policies and procedures for further growth and development of assigned area of responsibility.
- Functions as a liaison with non-UF academic programs.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

This position does have supervisory responsibility.
