Data Scientist III

Summary

This role is crucial in leading innovative science research, coordinating data curation, and project analysis. The Data Scientist III will work with minimal supervision, applying data science and statistical analysis knowledge. They will also provide suggestions to improve research processes, participate in project and analysis plan development, and assist in reporting.

  • Providing expertise in statistical data, model analysis, and data science methods. 
  • Leading projects in statistical models, predictive analytics, and machine learning. 
  • Utilizing statistical software for data analysis and interpretation. 
  • Identifying opportunities for advanced analytics and data mining. 
  • Creating statistical reports and assisting in model planning. 
  • Enhancing and maintaining data infrastructure. 
  • Evaluating and adopting new analytics tools. 
  • Communicating and presenting results. 
  • Collaborating on projects, manuscripts, and grants. 
  • Manage projects and adhere to data security protocols. 

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and five years of experience; Master’s Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and three years of experience; Doctoral Degree in data science, statistics, bioinformatics, analytics, or similar field and one year of experience.
