Summary
This is work managing and maintaining teaching laboratories and instruction offered in these laboratories.

- Joint teaching responsibilities with faculty for laboratory sections taught at undergraduate and graduate levels.
- Management, training, and evaluation of Graduate Teaching Assistants responsible for running laboratory exercises.
- Development of teaching materials and instruction guides.
- Responsible for course grading and establishment of criteria for student teaching assistant evaluations.
- Training techniques for data acquisition, computer input, statistical analysis of data using computer software.
- Management of equipment and supplies. May have responsibility for establishing and/or managing lab fees.
- Supervise and guide others to understand laboratory equipment safety and operating policies and procedures.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
